What is eSHOP?

eSHOP is a feature-rich eCommerce platform, built-in with Web Content Management System capabilities with intuitive and in-context editing tools. This provides online merchants with complete control over the look, content and functionality of their eCommerce store.

Included in the eShop package are the following key features:


Site Management
The site management supports multiple currencies, and is able to be viewed in different languages. The administrators would have a panel to control the eShop site, and can contact customers via emails or newsletters. Information Pages are displayed and updated using a built-in content management system.

International Support
The site features multi-currency support for international users.  Information on the currency exchange rate is also available. Buyers can separate their Shipping Destination Address with Billing Addresses, which allows for purchasing gifts or other purposes. 

Marketing Promotional Tools
Include tools to set promotional prices either by percentage or fixed amount that can be restricted for certain products.

Shipping
The shipping engine includes on-site tracking from customer accounts, and buyers would be charged a flat rate per order. eShop also provides owners the ability to define the rates to be applied to differing weights and destinations, which will then be tabulated into a table for ease of viewing.

Payment
The allowed modes of payment include: PayPal, Credit Card, and Cheque. Multiple payment gateways are integrated: PayPal, RBS World Pay or eNETs.


Order Management
With this feature, owners can view, edit, create and fulfil orders from the admin panel; they can also create and print invoices and shipments for each order. In addition, new customer can be created, and the user will be able to view shopping carts of selected customers. A notification email will be sent when a new order is received.

Customer Service
This feature consists of several tools such as  an electronic contact form, with feature-rich Customer Accounts, Order History, and Account Order Tracking, Restore Password service, Order management and Account update emails.


Customer Accounts
Visitor and buyer can register for customer accounts. Here they can find various order-related features listed on the Account Dashboard such as order status and history, re-ordered or recently ordered items, billing and shipping information, Product Previews, RSS or wish list etc.

Product Browsing
Under Product Browsing, buyers can view stock availability or add a product to their wish lists. In addition, they can select from various product options, view products in groups, and write product reviews. Buyers also have the ability to make reference to others with the email-to-a-friend feature.

Catalog Browsing
An electronic catalog can be accessed for a range of information and functions, including recently viewed or compared products, product tags filtering, product reviews and product listing in grids or list format. 


Catalog Management
With catalog management, users can make use of the inventory management, which includes checking on backordered items, simple configuration and customization of Product Listings such as uploading of images. In addition, users can define categories for sorting, and perform various other functions.
