| SEED Institute was formerly known as the Regional Training and Resource Centre in Early Childhood Care and Education for Asia (RTRC Asia). It was set up in 1989 by the NTUC, in collaboration with the Bernard van Leer Foundation, a Dutch private philanthropic foundation that funds and shares knowledge about work in early childhood development. SEED Institute was built upon a vision to give children the best head-start possible, by grooming early childhood professionals to provide the best care and education to young children.
As part of its rebranding effort, SEED Institute wanted a brand new look for its corporate website.
CommonTown takes charge of developing and hosting SEED Institute corporate website which is targeted to be launched within a month. Utilizing CommonTown’s robust and in-context CMS tool, Swiiit, Seed Institute was able to showcase the website in time with its media launch.
To empower the website with additional content-based capabilities, CommonTown also implemented Sharing Space, a digital resource sharing portal for researchers to share resources online. Upon working closely with CommonTown development team, the portal was timely and successfully integrated into SEED Institute’s website. |
