| Exploit Technologies (ETPL), the strategic marketing and commercialisation arm of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) Singapore, is a one-stop centre for research institutes, industries and enterprises. The centre consolidates and provides access to Singapore's enriched pool of intellectual property and knowledge generated by A*STAR's research institutes. This was enabled by Tech Offers, a customized web-based knowledge management system developed by CommonTown from May to September 2009.
Tech Offers allows the client to effortlessly pool and organize knowledge and intellectual properties across a multitude of industries into one common, taxonomically structured repository. From this elegant interface, information about A*Star generated technologies can be searched for, viewed, and/or purchased by all interested parties. In addition, CommonTown is also the developer of Exploit Technologies corporate website, and provides users with a Blog feature for the purpose of creating an online technology-sharing community.
