| Chung Cheng High School was founded in 1939 with the goal of promoting a deeper understanding of the Chinese culture. The school was also involved in a twinning programme with reputable schools in China.
Responding to the school's request, in January 2010 CommonTown introduced CommonAcademy, an online learning management system to transform the way students are receiving their education. Online lessons, Assessments, Calendar, Announcement, Users Management and Administration are among the key features offered by the system. CommonTown has also provided some customized modules for the school including the Learning Needs Analysis and the Pupil Discipline Record.
With the Learning Needs Analysis module, teachers can self-grade their performance to identify areas that they need to improve, after which the school will decide to send them for training. This feature has paved the way for continuous learning and improving in the quality of education in Chung Cheng High.
The Pupil Discipline Record module allows the teachers to enter details about student’s offences, and reports with relevant statistics may be auto-generated to identify students with problems so that prompt action can be taken to improve the situation and prevent further offenses.
