| Established in 1988, Serangoon Junior College prides itself on the ability to lay a strong foundation for healthy and world-ready minds by continuously engaging students in dynamic and memorable activities.
CommonTown carried out two custom projects, the Virtual Tour and a personal Blog for Serangoon Junior College.
The Virtual Tour, featured on the school website, enables users to experience a 360 degrees of the school surroundings through an interactive digital platform. Upon selecting a venue from the digital map powered by Google, users will be taken on a virtual tour where they can zoom and span across different areas of the school campus. This takes place in a high definition flash-based movie frame. The Virtual Tour has greatly helped parents, prospective students and visitors to visualize and immerse themselves in the school surroundings, and consequently, make better evaluations and enrolment decisions.
Apart from developing the Virtual Tour, CommonTown also provided a Blog for every student and teacher to share personal stories and thoughts with friends, colleagues and others. This feature fosters communication and caters for social development among the Serangoon JC students.
